Krishnamoorthi wins 8th Congressional District race

Democrat Raja Krishnamoorthi has been declared the winner in the 8th Congressional District against Republican Jitendra Diganvker.

With 93 percent of the precincts reporting, Krishnamoorthi had 66 percent of the vote with a total of 117,652 votes.

Diganvker received 34 percent of the vote with a total of 61,938 votes.
