A. Sheriff
Sheriff Callahan told the committee that the third floor courtroom project should be completed by end of month.
The Sheriff then distributed a letter addressed to him from the desk of State's Attorney Jason Helland. Due to content of the letter, the Sheriff stated that he does not feel comfortable getting legal representation from Helland and requested direction from the committee as to what to do if he needed it. The committee suggested contacting the IL Sheriff's Association and/or the Appellate Prosecutor.

Gary Dobbs told the committee that back in May he had requested additional funding to compensate employees for weekend court due to the Bond Court requirement. He also requested a part time (20 hours per week) secretary @ minimum wage due to currently only having one secretary for four attorneys. The requests were not budgeted. No action was taken.
