Northbrook Elementary School District 27 recently issued the following announcement.

Please join us on October 10th for a Parent Workshop Session on the District's plans to keep staff and students safe.

The session will be held on October 10th from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Shabonee School.

Join us and learn about:

The District's Emergency Preparedness Plan, and how its protocols have developed into a township-wide effort
How the District plans to teach your children ways to keep safe during emergencies
What our school psychologists and social workers do each day to monitor the social-emotional behaviors in our students to manage issues before they escalate.

Listen to local police officials, district administrators, and school psychologists and social workers discuss these and other topics.
