Mount Prospect School District 57 students suspended 2 times in a single school year

Mount Prospect School District 57 reported two suspensions for 2016-17, according to the latest student discipline report by the Illinois State Board of Education.

According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 2 students during the year. That equates to 0.1 percent of the 2,292 students enrolled.

The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for violence without physical injury. The category includes two incidents. For two incidents, students were suspended for a day or less.
