According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 155 students during the year. That equates to 2.4 percent of the 6,352 students enrolled.
Of the 155 out-of-school suspensions, 119 were given to boys and 36 were given to girls, all of whom were high schoolers.
The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for drugs. The category includes 43 incidents. There were 42 incidents of violence without physical injury. For 62 incidents, students were suspended for 1-3 days.
