Ridgewood Community High School District 234 recently issued the following announcement.
The 2018 inductees to the Ridgewood High School Alumni Hall of Fame come from a variety of professions such as law enforcement, construction and behavioral health. This year there are three outstanding alumni being inducted into the RHS Alumni Hall of Fame. These alumni have exhibited outstanding leadership, character and service to their community.
Frank Biagi, class of 1984; Kari Mika-Lude (Andrews), class of 2004 ; and Daniel Tannhauser, class of 1985; will be honored during the HoF brunch ceremony held on Sept. 22, 2018.
Frank Biagi ‘84
Frank Biagi ‘84 has dedicated the past 43 years to Law Enforcement. His most notable career highlights include 28 years of Police Administration for the city of Harwood Heights, 12 years of SWAT Team/SWAT Command Level and three years of Police Dispatching.
He attended Triton College for Criminal Justice Administration, Western Illinois Universtiy, School of Business, for “Police Executive Role in the 21st Century” and Northwestern University Center for Public Safety, “Police Staff and Command.”
Aside from an impressive career, Biagi has dedicated an immense amount of time to community service. Instrumental in securing grant funding for conducting roadside safety checks in the community. He implemented Rapid Response (Active Shooter) training for the local schools, library, churches and businesses. For over a decade, Biagi was a dedicated boys basketball and travel baseball coach. He also lead youth teams towards volunteering in local “Feed my Starving Children” chapter.
Kari Mika-Lude (Andrews) ‘04
Kari Mika-Lude (Andrews) ‘04 has had an extensive career in the behavioral health industry. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Alder University and completed her Doctoral coursework in Counselor Education and Supervision form Northern Illinois University. In addition, she is EMDR trained in Level I and Level II and has a certificate in Advanced Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling from Oakton Community College.
Mika-Lude’s husband is a former firefighter, and giving back is very near and dear to both of them. Part of their business, Aspire to Inspire, involves partnering with local first responder organizations, including police, fire, and EMS, to provide training on trauma, PTSD prevention and intervention, self-care and critical incident stress management. Much of this work is and will be done pro-bono as a service to the community and to the first responders themselves.
2018 has been an impressive year for Mika-Lude. In March, she started her own business, Aspire to Inspire Behavioral Health and Addiction Services, LLC, offering therapy services as well as consultation and clinical supervision. In April, she was contracted by the Department of Homeland Security to provide a workshop on trauma-informed service at the Transportation Security Administration Supervisory/Leadership Summit in Charleston, WV. Also in April, she was contracted by the West Virginia Foundation for Rape Information and Services to provide a workshop on the correlation between sexual violence and addiction at their 18th Annual Sexual Assault and Stalking Symposium in Roanoke, WV.
Daniel Tannhauser ‘85
Daniel Tannhauser ‘85 is a local business owner, of TANNCO Construction Inc. is a Commercial Interior Construction company in Norridge. He earned his secondary education as a union carpenter,
For two decades, Tannhauser provided industry-leading construction management. His career highlights include being a union carpenter and Vice President/Project Executive of a multi-million dollar general contracting company. In 2013, Tanhauser started his own business, TANNCO Construction Inc., a Chicago-based full service General Contracting firm that specializes in commercial interiors.
Tannhauser has dedicated many years to community service in the Norridge community, serving on multiple boards. Some of which include:
- Executive Board Member & Current President of Norridge Improvement Party
- Chairperson of Village of Norridge Public Works & Water Department
- Board Member of Norridge Police Pension Fund
- Board Member of Municipal Consolidated Dispatch
- Member of Rotary Club of Norridge/ Harwood Heights

- Divine Savior Parishioner
- Norridge Youth Association now known as Norridge Harwood Heights Little League.
- Former Board Member & Manager for baseball and basketball
