Northbrook Elementary School District 27 recently issued the following announcement.
Sign up now for District 27's PTA 5K / 1 Mile and Kids' Fun Run on Saturday, September 22nd.
Similar to last year, this event will feature a 1-loop course for the 5K, going through two neighborhoods, and a 1-mile race run strictly inside the Wood Oaks Green Park.
The races provide chip timing, a snack buffet, DJ dance party and lots of games. Proceeds from this event benefit the Rohrabaugh Scholarships, which are given to Glenbrook North seniors who are outstanding graduates of Wood Oaks Jr. High School.
