Evanston Township High School alums arrested in Chicago with $852 worth of marijuana, plastic bags, scale

Two recent Evanston Township High School graduates were arrested Saturday in Chicago's Boystown neighborhood and charged with felony manufacturing and delivery of marijuana.

As reported by CWB Chicago, Jashawn Burke of Evanston and Trenton Hunt of Skokie had their car door open in the 800 Block of West Newport Avenue; Chicago police saw bags of what they thought was marijuana.

A search of the car found "a box of plastic bags, a scale, scissors, and a fake $100 bill," the report said.

Burke is a 2017 graduate of ETHS.

Hunt, who calls himself "blunt Hunt" on his marijuana-themed Twitter account, depicts himself smoking marijuana in homemade rap videos he posts on Youtube and quipped in June on Instagram that he "just wanna smoke dope and get money," graduated from ETHS in May.
