University of Phoenix-Illinois enrolls 134 undergrads

At University of Phoenix-Illinois, 95 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 67 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Schaumburg enrolled 146 students in fall 2017, including 134 in undergraduate and 12 in graduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (43 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (14 percent).
