95 percent of applicants to Hebrew Theological College were admitted for fall 2017

At Hebrew Theological College, 92 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 81 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Skokie enrolled 199 students in fall 2017, including 196 in undergraduate and 3 in graduate programs, data shows. 2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

43 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 55 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (94 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (3 percent).

The school admitted 95 percent of the 100 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 41 percent enrolled.
