City of Des Plaines recently issued the following announcement.
The Taste of Des Plaines is one of the most popular summer festivals in the area.
Families, friends and neighbors from all around the Chicagoland area attend this free two-day event featuring great food from our local restaurants, live entertainment on two stages, a Classic Car show, and an opportunity to meet WDRV's radio personalities Sherman & Tingle.
On Saturday, our family area is filled with free activities including a rock climbing wall, remote car racing game, reptile show and so much more!
Just steps away from the Metra train and downtown Des Plaines, parking is free and easily accessible.
