Ahead of the general election in November, U.S. Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL) is launching “Stories from the Sixth,” a podcast that covers how his work impacts his constituents in the state’s Sixth District.
“It’s my pleasure to announce this platform, where we can hear directly from people on issues ranging from IRS overreach to how different ethnic and religious groups are thriving in the district,” he said via a press release.
In office since 2007, Roskam is currently on the House Committee on Ways and Means, which is charged with overseeing trade and revenue policy, according to Ballotpedia.org. He’s also a member of the Health and Tax Policy subcommittees.
