Cost of college went down for all students at Christian Life College

Tuition and fees fell 64.5 percent for 2017-18 at Christian Life College, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $3,900 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year $7,100 less than the $11,000 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 83 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 5 students received grants or scholarships totaling $34,605 and 4 students took out student loans totaling more than $21,033.

Including all undergraduates, 17 students used grants or scholarships totaling $95,674. Another 14 took out $90,065 in federal student loans.
