City of Park Ridge Bike Task Force met May 15.

Here is the minutes provided by the

I. Roll Call

The meeting was called to order at 7:14 p.m.

The following members were in attendance: Joe DeYoung, Jim O’Donnell, and Mark Kleinschmit

Other: Tyler Kuta (Maine South)

II. Approval of Minutes

A. May 9, 2018

III. Discussion Items

A. Validation of destination signage for the Park Ridge bike routes / signage requirements / review

Reviewed phase 2 version of survey form

- agreed that new form will meet verification and BOM requirements

- agreed to move ahead to convert existing surveys to phase 2 version

- Mark to convert zone 4 to new form

- Joe to reach out to members of cycling club to validate zone 2

Mark to create sign standards to be presented to BTF

Route Signs determined to be first priority

Joe to schedule meeting with GIS rep to discuss requirements to add signs, bike Parking & routes

Joe to investigate “dropping a pin” on google maps to get sign coordinates as it relates to GIS

Jim, Joe & Mark agreed to meet next week to review progress.

Forward any sign to Mark to be reviewed to be included in PR standards.
