About 52 percent of the 1,653 degrees and certificates handed out by the National Louis University in 2016-17 were to students in Education programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Chicago conferred 705 master's degrees and 82 certificates in Education programs.
But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Data shows the school gave out 157 master's degrees in Curriculum and Instruction, followed by 146 master's degrees in Secondary Education and Teaching and 145 bachelor's degrees in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies, Other.
The university enrolled 4,515 students for 2016-17, including 1,459 in undergraduate programs and 3,056 in graduate programs.
