Graduates earn 64 degrees, certificates from Northwest Suburban College

About 93.8 percent of the 64 degrees and certificates handed out by the Northwest Suburban College in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Meadows conferred 60 certificates in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Pharmacy Technician/Assistant. Data shows the school gave out 32 certificates in Pharmacy Technician/Assistant, followed by 17 certificates in Medical/Clinical Assistant and 11 certificates in Dental Assisting/Assistant.

The college enrolled 68 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
