Report: Golf spent $13,530 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Golf Elementary School District 67 is down 4 percent from five years ago, according to a North Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $14,095 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $13,530 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 575 to 658.

Golf's spending in 2016-17 was 4 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
