Report: Glenview spent $13,399 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Glenview Community Consolidated School District 34 is up 2 percent from five years ago, according to a North Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $13,154 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $13,399 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 4843 to 4888.

Glenview's spending in 2016-17 was 3 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
