Report: Norridge spent $10,256 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Norridge School District 80 is up 3 percent from five years ago, according to a North Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $9,967 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $10,256 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 1008 to 1117.

Norridge's spending in 2016-17 was 21 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
