Elk Grove Park District issued the following announcement on May 9.
Enjoy the great outdoors on your bike this summer and join our Instagram contest during the months of June and July. Cycling is one of the best free forms of exercise and transportation and parks are the perfect destinations to visit.
We have over 40 beautiful parks spread throughout Elk Grove Village with various amenities for you to enjoy. We challenge you to see how many parks you can visit by bike. While you're biking around the village, meeting with friends, riding to sports practice or just taking a fun ride; remember to have your phone along for the ride and ready for your next photo op!
Criteria to win:
- Visit as many parks as possible on your bike during the months of June and July 2018.
- Take a selfie featuring you, your bike and the park sign.
- Tag us on Instagram @elkgroveparks using #egpdselfiecycle
Please, remember to follow the Rules of the Road when biking and always wear a helmet.
