Analysis: Norridge pays $3.31 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Norridge Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 76.8 percent of the $1,412,446 the Norridge Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.31 for every $1 from pension members, according to a North Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Norridge contributed $1,084,796 to the fund, which saw a $53,788 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $327,651, or 23.2 percent, in 2016.
