Analysis: Bartlett pays $2.50 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Bartlett Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 71.4 percent of the $1,836,180 the Bartlett Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $2.50 for every $1 from pension members, according to a North Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Bartlett contributed $1,311,249 to the fund, which saw a $96,903 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $524,083, or 28.5 percent, in 2016. Another $848 came from other unspecified sources.
