Hoffman Estates school receives $10,000 donation from Burlington Stores

Burlington

Eisenhower Junior High School in Hoffman Estates received a $10,000 donation from Burlington Stores Inc. through a partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org.

The donation was made as Burlington celebrated the opening of its new stores on Roselle Road, a Schaumburg Community Consolidated School District 54 release said.

Burlington Regional Vice President Tom Floore and store manager Dan Hoss made the presentation to Eisenhower Principal Heather Wilson and Assistant Principal Amy Houlihan during an Oct. 27 assembly at the school.

“On behalf of the students and staff at Eisenhower Junior High, I would like to thank Burlington and AdoptAClassroom.org for this generous donation,” Wilson said in the release. “This is a way our community is here to help support your success.

The funds are slated to provide staffers with the resources needed for classroom materials.
