The Hanover Park Park District has scheduled a number of activities for both adults and youth this summer.
Two more rounds of youth and adult archery classes are available, with the first set for July 6 to 27. A final set of classes will be Aug. 3 to 24.
Ken Walther is a National Archery Association level III coach. He will help participants learn the ins and outs of this sport. The courses are available at the Simkus Recreation Center and Carol Stream Park District. Participants must be at least 8 years old. The events are Thursdays from 6:30 to 7 p.m. There are registration fees associated with the classes. Prices vary and are listed on the Hanover Park Park District's website.
Dunham Woods Farm in Elgin will provide beginning riding lessons, according to the park district's website.
