The City of Elgin has opened golf courses at Bowes Creek Country Club, The Highlands of Elgin and Wing Park Golf Course for the season.

According to a city press release, Bowes Creek Country Club and The Highlands of Elgin are offering season passes and memberships. The two clubs have also opened their practice ranges, but the city cautioned that those using the ranges might be limited to hitting from the mats. While food and beverage options are limited at Wing Park Golf Course, Bowes Creek and The Highlands offer a full range of refreshments at Porter’s Pub and The Grumpy Goat Tavern, respectively.

At all courses, which offer regular hours of 8:30 a.m. until dusk, ground conditions will dictate whether golfers can take their carts off the cart paths.

Those interested in taking advantage of Elgin’s golf courses should contact the courses directly to schedule tee times. Bowes Creek Country Club can be reached at BowesCreekCC.com or (847) 214-5880, The Highlands of Elgin at HighlandsOfElgin.com or (847) 931-5950, and Wing Park Golf Course at WingParkGolf.com or (847) 931-5952.
