Boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 12 can line up for either of two youth baseball camps being offered this summer by the the Schaumburg Boomers, according to the team's website.
The camps, which will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. from June 23 to 24 and from July 20 to 21, are in their second year.
Team members and coaches will instruct the participants in every phase of baseball, although players must bring their own baseball glove and clothing.
The cost for camp is $79, which also covers a T-shirt, souvenir baseball and ticket to the Boomers games each night. Lunch also will be provided.
Registration can be done on the team's website or by calling Kelsey Gilbert at 847-461-3695, ext. 2217. Early registration is recommended as space is limited.
