Oakton Community College men's basketball player Ryan Matthew will join the program at Robert Morris University, according to an announcement on Oakton's Facebook page.
Matthew, a guard from Maine South High School, was named to the All-Skyway Conference first team and the NJCAA Region IV Division II District 4 All Region second team this year after averaging 16.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game in 30 games.
As a freshman at Oakton in the 2015-16 season, Matthew averaged 11.4 points and 4.5 assists per game.
Robert Morris plays in NAIA Division II and is a member of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Last season, the Eagles went 27-7 overall and 18-2 in the CCAC and won the conference tournament. The Eagles reached the second round of the NAIA Division II National Championships.
