The campaign committee Indian Trails Public Library District owes a $5,000 fine imposed on June 3, 2013, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $11,744 with W. Gene Looft listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 31 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $233,138 in pending fines.
