Oak Lawn Police and Fire Commissions present commendation certificates

The village of Oak Lawn Police and Fire Commissions met March 15 to present commendation certificates.

Here is the meeting's agenda, as provided by the commission:

The Fire & Police Commission consists of three (3) members who are appointed by the President of the Village with the consent of the Board of Trustees to serve three (3) year terms.

1. Call to Order.

2. Roll Call.

3. Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes 17-02 dated Wednesday, February 8, 2017.

4. Commendation Certificates were received for the following members of the police

department: Officer William O’Connor, Tactical Officer Michael Sikorski (2), Tactical

Officer Steve McNeela (2), Officer Steve Daddona, Officer Kyle Rodriguez and Sergeant

Eugene McNulty.

5. Honorable Mention Certificates were received for the following members of the police

department: Detective Tom Nelson, Officer Scott Kirk Officer Katie Gollogly (2),

Detective Mike Sikorski, Detective Steve McNeela, Officer Robert Carroll (2), Officer

Steve McNeela, Officer Mitchell Ally, Officer Kurt Diestelmeier, Sergeant Eugene

McNulty, Officer William O’Connor (2), Officer Ben Hahn, Officer Luke Sevening,

Officer Matt Shilney, Officer Steve Daddona and Officer Daniel Stone.

6. Approval of Invoices:

A. Trans Union Corporation Invoice No. 02700544 dated February 27, 2017 in the

amount of $263.27 for pre-employment credit reports.

B. Odelson & Sterk, Ltd. Invoice No. 20213 dated February 13, 2017 in the amount of

$2543.75 for services rendered during January 2017 & Invoice No. 20339 dated

March 8, 2017 in the amount of $1,480.00 for services rendered during February

2017.

C. Whalen Copier Invoice No. 646570 dated February 17, 2017 in the amount of $62.50

for copier maintenance fee.

7. Status of request to hire in the fire department.

8. Status of request to hire in the police department.

9. Pending request to promote in the police department.

10. Entry-level testing for police patrol officer.
