Elgin committee views housing development presentation

Special Presentations and Reports

All items listed in section "Special Presentations and Reports" are for informational purposes only. As such, the city council is not expected to take action at this time on any item listed below.

A. Illinois Housing Development Authority iRefi Program Presentation Rebecca Ortiz of the Homeownership Programs Department of the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) will present on the I-REFI Program. IHDA offers $50,000 to buy down mortgages and refinance loans of persons underwater on their mortgage but current on their mortgage payments (home value, income, and credit limits apply).

Initiatives and Other Items

B. Consideration of 2017 Health Insurance Program with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois ($8,474,360 for active employees; $1,299,150 for retired employees) Objective: Provide fiscally sound health insurance program access to employees, retirees and their dependents.

C. Consideration of Lease and Service Agreement with Nadler Golf Car Sales Inc. for New Golf Cars at Bowes Creek Country Club ($19,520 in 2017, $21,515 in 2018 and $24,420 in 2019-2024)

Objective: Provide high quality golf cars and utility vehicles at Bowes Creek Country Club.
