Brookfield Fire and Police Commission will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4.
Brookfield is one of the few villages in the area to have a full time fire department from its inception. It has two fire stations, one on each side of the railroad tracks, and two ambulances manned by licensed paramedics ready to assist in medical emergencies.
