Richmond Finance Committee hears public comments

The Village of Richmond Finance Committee met Tuesday, July 19.

The Richmond Finance Committee is the village’s budget-making authority responsible for financial and taxation matters. Meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month.

Regular Meeting Minutes

July 19, 2016

The Finance Committee meeting held at the Village Hall, 5600 Hunter Drive was called to order by Chairman Pro-Tem Craig Kunz at 4:02 PM.

Members Present: Trustees: Craig Kunz and Ramsin Wardanian.

Members Absent: Trustee/Chairman Dennis Bardy.

Others Present: Village President, Peter Koenig and Village Clerk, Karla L. Thomas.

Approval of Minutes: The committee reviewed the minutes of the July 5, 2016 regular Finance committee meeting minutes.

Trustee Wardanian moved; however, due to no second the motion failed. Trustee Kunz abstained.

The minutes will be placed on the August 2, 2016 Finance Agenda for approval.

Public Comments: None.

Clerk’s Comments: None.

Review and Recommendation of Bills for Approval: The committee members reviewed and signed off on invoices submitted for payment.

Unfinished Business: The committee tabled discussion regarding Discussion of Investments due to Trustee/Chairman Bardy’s absence.

New Business: None.

Trustee Comments: None.

Adjournment: There being no further business to discuss, Trustee Wardanian moved, seconded by Trustee Kunz to adjourn the regular Finance committee meeting. The motion was approved by voice vote.

Meeting adjourned at 4:31 PM.
