Des Plaines City Council prepares for upcoming meeting

The Des Plaines City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, June 20.

The council includes 10 elected officials, including the mayor, the city clerk and eight aldermen from each of the city’s wards. The council serves as the legislative body for the city, setting policy direction and enacting legislation.
