The results of the architectural survey will be reported at today's commission meeting.
The final copy of the architectural survey is scheduled for review at the Park Ridge Historic Preservation Commission meeting this evening.
The commission will meet at 6 p.m. today, April 6, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 505 Butler Place.
At the March 2 meeting of the commission, Margaret Guzek submitted two draft copies of the architectural survey. Guzek is scheduled to present the final copy to the commission at Wednesday's meeting, as well as copies for the city and library. The city will be able to upload the survey to its website.
The commission will hear and discuss any cases presented for historic landmark designation. It will also hear updates on the poster contest, 100-year-old houses and landmark plaque installation. By March, nearly all the landmark sites had confirmed the plaque locations. Public Works is scheduled to install the wall-mounted plaques at the heights requested by the landmark owners. In-ground plaques will be set in concrete.
The new members of the commission will be introduced. The commission has nine members, who are appointed by the mayor.
