Four applications are on the agenda for the 7:30 p.m. meeting of the Wilmette Appearance Review Commission on Monday, April 4.
The public is invited to attend and comment at the meeting, which will be held in the second floor training room of the Village Hall, 1200 Wilmette Ave.
George Atia has requested an Appearance Review Certificate for a trash enclosure at the Center of Digestive & Liver Health, 406 Ridge Road. The applicant would like to move the trash enclosure from its current position in front of the medical offices to a location near the rear property line.
The storefront of the old Linden Hardware is next on the agenda, with a request for approval to remodel the building facade. The applicant, Kenneth Milin, is requesting an Appearance Review Certificate for the proposed remodel, which entails replacing the windows and two existing doors with energy efficient windows. In addition, the garage behind the building will be demolished.
Petitioner Sam Gambacorta is requesting a certificate for a five-unit townhome development at 1314 Wilmette Ave. The development will consist of two two-story buildings with garages, one with two units and the other with three units.
Imperial Motors, located at 721 Green Bay Road, is submitting new plans to the commission and requesting a certificate. The Jaguar dealership is mandated by the corporate headquarters to remodel the building facade. The applicant previously appeared before the commission on Nov. 2. The commission will review the photos of the existing building and the new application, including proposed plans and elevations.
