The Wilmette, Illinois Appearance Review Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 4.
The commission will review the certificate for the IL Center for Digestive and Liver Health, located at 135 Green Bay Rd. It was continued from the previous meeting.
Also continued from a previous meeting is the case of the Women's Club at 930 Greenleaf Ave. The Women's Club is of particular interest, as the building suffered a devastating fire earlier this year. The Women's Club is rebuilding and restoring the building, with a new roof and repairs to the masonry walls being first in the rebuilding process. Once the new roof is installed, the contractor can dry out the inside of the building before proceeding with the interior restoration.
Before reviewing new cases, the commission will approve certificates for Citadel Care, 432 Poplar Dr., and Craig Scott Opticians, 1146 Central Ave. Items on the Consent Agenda are approved in a single vote.
The commission will then review the applications for North Shore Meats at 421 Ridge Rd., and the IL Back Institute at 3201 Old Glenview Rd.
The public is invited to attend Appearance Review Commission meetings and comment on the proceedings. The meeting will be held in the Training Room on the second floor of Village Hall.
