The City of Elgin, Illinois Strategic Plan Advisory Commission will meet tonight from 6 to 8 in the second floor South Conference Room at City Hall.
After taking a roll call, the commission will review and approve the October meeting minutes.
Staff Reports include the review of the commission's 2016 calendar and plan, an update on the budget, discussion of the community survey and a report on the Innovation Fund.
Public comments will be taken under new business. After any new business is presented and discussed, the meeting will be adjourned.
The Strategic Plan Advisory Commission meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. at City Hall. The commission includes Chairman Bill Briska and members Judith DiFulvio, Armida Dominquez, Dustin Good, Matt Hafeli, Todd Martin, Jeanette Mihalec, Carolyn O’Neal, Sara Sabo and Dennis Verges. The members of the commission are appointed by the Mayor and City Manager to five year terms that end in 2017. The duties of the commission include making recommendations to the City Council concerning the strategic plan and its implementation.
