The regular meeting of the Village of Northbrook, Illinois Architectural Control Commission took place on Dec. 10.
The commission met in the Terrace Room on the second floor of the Village Hall at 5:30 p.m. After taking roll and reviewing the Nov. 12 meeting minutes, the commission called for public comments on items not on the agenda.
The commission discussed design review permits. These included the @Properties wall signs at 1330 Shermer Rd. and the Consumers Credit Union wall sign at 1344 Shermer Rd.
The commission considered the building permit extension request for the synagogue located at 3465 Techny Rd.
Following the permit extension request, the commission moved on to discuss the new single family home elevations. The property located in the R-3 District was 3340 Techny Rd. by Charles Roig, architect. This property is subject to annexation. The properties located in the R-4 District were 2685 Crabtree Lane, 2705 Walters Ave., 2709 Walters Ave. and 2713 Walters Ave., all by Cliff Town, architect; and 1884 Summerton Place by SKI Architecture. The only property located in the R-5 District was 1933 Lincoln Ave. by ALA Architects & Planners Inc.
After new business and old business items were discussed the meeting was adjourned.
