During its October meeting, the Northbrook, Illinois Plan Commission discussed several applications.

In the Community Planning Report, Director Tom Poupard reported on the Village Green Center and special permits for Northbrook Historical Society, 990 Skokie Boulevard, and the Mission Hills application that were passed at the Board of Trustees meeting. The Board also heard two preliminary applications: the Roti’s sign and a resubdivision on Greenview. The Village Board will review zoning code amendments and an amendment to the subdivision code at the next meeting. It will also consider the 1000 Skokie Boulevard mixed-use development

Under the Review of Draft Resolutions, the commission approved Docket No. PCD-15-23, Bernard Weinger JCC at 300 Revere Dr., which required several special permits and variances.

In a first public hearing, the commission reviewed a new application Docket No. PCD-15-28, 2801 Dundee Rd., Chase Bank. Special permits were requested for a drive-through bank, including variations to reduce the front yard size. The resolution was passed.

The commission also reviewed Docket No. PCD-15-30, 798 Skokie Blvd., Roti wall sign. This was the first public hearing. Roti Modern Mediterranean applied for a special permit for a sign variance, which was granted.

Under old business, the commission discussed details of the Chase Bank and Roti's applications.
