The Buffalo Grove Arts Commission will meet today at 7 p.m. in the EOC Conference Room, 50 Raupp Blvd.
The mission of the Buffalo Grove Arts Commission is "to draw upon the diversity and artistic talent within the Buffalo Grove community and to promote a broad spectrum of the arts, which will serve to enrich our village."
The agenda for the commission's regular monthly meeting includes approval of the Oct. 14 meeting minutes.
Under old business, the commission will hear the report on the Buffalo Grove Band's annual fall concert, which was held on Sunday. Also on the agenda is the report on the second annual 2016 YouthArt Calendar competition, sponsored by the Arts Commission and American Enterprise Bank, held on Oct. 24.
New business includes strategic planning and a discussion of textile arts, followed by the village report.
