The Glenview Police Department has started a Facebook page to enhance communications with the public via social media.
When residents, local businesses and neighboring communities "like" the Glenview Police Department's Facebook page, they can view community-related items, including real-time issues such as scam alerts, road closures and traffic incidents.
Glenview Police Department's timeline also includes a variety of items of public interest, such as National Coffee Day, National Crime Prevention Month, and National Safety Council information on the dangers of texting and driving.
