Sunday, Feb. 23: Elk Grove High School standout Lexi Goeringer’s college team loses to Pittsburg State Gorillas

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Elk Grove High School standout Lexi Goeringer’s current college team, the Maryville Saints, lost 9-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas.

The game took place at Gahnstrom Field. This was their first matchup against the Gorillas this season.

The Saints’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 4 p.m. at Gahnstrom Field against Washburn Ichabods.
