Village Manager Reid Ottesen presented the petitioners request stating that this event is similar to what they have done in the past and staff recommends approval.

Village Manager Reid Ottesen presented the petitioners request stating that this is an event they have had in the past without issue. All their employees will be doing the liquor service on premise and are Bassett licensed. Staff is recommending approval.

Village Manager Reid Ottesen stated that the establish indicated that they will not be renewing their liquor license with the upcoming renewal in July and that this was the appropriate time.

Village Manage Reid Ottesen specified that the Park District no longer wishes to renew their liquor license. A separate liquor license is held by a vendor for the golf course or the Park District can come forward for a temporary liquor license for special events.

1. Consider a Resolution Authorizing Palatine's Participation as a Member in the Illinois Emergency Management Mutual Aid System Response Pursuant to an Intergovernmental Agreement for the Establishment of a Mutual Aid Intergovernmental Service Agreement - Adopted by Voice Vote
Fire Chief Patrick Gratzianna explained that the Village of Palatine has been an active participant for the last 20 years in the Illinois Emergency Management Mutual Aid System. This is a structural framework in place for natural disasters and emergencies with surrounding communities to give and take services from one municipality to another. This document has been updated with new terminology, insurance and indemnification which is supported and reviewed by the JEMS coordinator. This document has been updated and reviewed by the EMA coordinator and our internal coordinator, Sarah Mckillop to have in place for another 20 years.

2. Approve an Amendment to the IGA Between District 15 and Village of Palatine for School Resource Officers - Approved by Voice Vote Village Manager Reid Ottesen explained that an overhaul of the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) was done in 2018. District 15 reached out regarding the Records Act asking for minor provisions they would like to make so that the School Resource Officers are properly covered in the event there was ever questions. This is a minor change and recommends staff approval.
