According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 904 students during the year. This equates to 15 percent of the 6,199 students enrolled.
Students were expelled for 63 incidents with violence that caused physical injury, 149 incidents with violence without physical injury, 121 incidents with alcohol and tobacco, 185 incidents with drugs, 24 incidents with a dangerous weapon, other than a firearm.
