Elgin Opens Temporary Overnight Emergency Warming Shelter
With the forecasted weather this week, the City of Elgin is opening the temporary overnight emergency warming shelter, located at 216 E Highland Ave, to provide a safe, warm space for those in need.
The temporary overnight emergency warming shelter, 216 E Highland, will open each night from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., on the evening of Sunday, January 29, 2023 through the morning of Saturday, February 4, 2023.
