Boo Buie's team-high 22 points were not enough as Northwestern fell 85-78 to the Michigan Wolverines at the Crisler Center on Sunday.
The Wildcats (12-5, 3-3 B1G) had four players score in double figures, led by Buie, who had 22 points and five assists. Robbie Beran added 16 points and two steals and Matthew Nicholson helped out with 13 points.
Northwestern forced 18 Michigan (10-7, 4-3 B1G) turnovers while committing only eight themselves in Sunday's game. The Wildcats turned those takeaways into 14 points on the offensive end of the floor. Chase Audige's five steals led the way for Northwestern.
