Two Score Over 20, Five in Double Figures as Eagles Take Down Grace Christian 87-82
The Judson Eagles earned their third straight victory following an 87-82 victory over Grace Christian on Friday. Judson had five players score in double figures, including Leonard Wilson leading the way with 24 points off the bench. He was 7-12 from the field, including going 4-8 from downtown, and added six made free throws. He also secured four rebounds. Javaris Wiggins scored 22 points and also contributed with six rebounds, three steals, and three assists. Thomas Donati returned to the lineup, adding 12 points, seven rebounds, and two assists. Anterrious Rhyan had a solid all-around game with 11 points, five rebounds, three assists, a steal, and a block. Darion Davis nearly recorded a double-double with 11 points, nine rebounds, two steals, an assist, and a block. "Darion stepped up and set the tone with numerous hustle plays and Leo hit big shots for us down the stretch," said Head Coach Bruce Fields. "The last few games our team has been getting key stops during crunch time that has helped us seal the victory." Judson (4-7) has a quick turnaround as the Eagles face Goshen in Indiana on Saturday.
