The purpose of this public hearing is for the Village Board to receive public comment in reference to the proposed 2022 Special Service Area #2 tax levy. The Special Service Area #2 (Oak Ridge Trails) property taxes extended or abated for 2021 were $4,430. The proposed Special Service Area #2 (Oak Ridge Trails) property taxes to be levied for 2022 are $6,452. This represents a 45.6% increase over the previous year for mowing, bike path, invasive species management (sandbar willow and buckthorn), erosion control, fencing, and tree maintenance.
No written testimony was received; no one has signed in to give oral testimony.
Trustee Baumer moved to adjourn. Trustee Harper seconded the motion. A voice vote approved the adjournment. The Village Board adjourned the Public Hearing at 6:19 p.m.

The Special Service Area #7 (Sherwood Forest) property taxes extended or abated for 2021 were $6,022. The proposed Special Service Area #7 (Sherwood Forest) property taxes to be levied for 2022 are $8,771. This represents a 45.6% increase over the previous year for invasive species management (buckthorn), asphalt bike path, signage, and tree maintenance.
