Cook County Sheriff tweeted the following:

"In the first half of 2022, we've recovered 458 firearms, including 25 ghost guns (weapons w/ no serial numbers) & 24 firearms w/ a switch turning them into fully automatic weapons.
Preventing gun violence will always be a top priority for our office."
