Village of South Barrington Architectural Control Commission met March 30.

CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Rafferty called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Deputy Clerk Moeller called roll and a quorum was noted present. Present: Chairman: Michael Rafferty Commissioners: Pat Baldino, Jim Bodkin, Don Crosby, Michael McCombie, Al Saller
Absent: Clerk: Donna Wood
Commissioners: Julius Kwasek
Officials Present: Mayor Paula McCombie
Village Staff Present: Building Officer Michael Moreland
Others Present: Cory Born with Jones, Lang, and LaSalle, Mike Loveit with Tesla
PUBLIC COMMENT
Chairman Rafferty invited members of the public to address the Board. Hearing none, the meeting proceeded with the published agenda items.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Saller made a motion to approve the minutes of the Architectural Control Commission of February 9, 2022. Commissioner Bodkin seconded the motion. All in favor by unanimous voice vote. Motion carried.
AGENDA ITEMS ARBORETUM OF SOUTH BARRINGTON
Tesla Charging Station/Signage Cory Born introduced Mike Loveit, Project Manager with Tesla, and presented information about the charging station, answering all questions from the Commission. The basic information is as follows:
• Each of 12 stations are not live (with power) until after a car is plugged in to the station. The car and station communicate before charging starts. Approximately 30 minutes per charge, $20 +/-, 250 Kw 3 Super Chargers run 4 charging stations each
• Tesla has employees in the Chicago area to maintain & repair the charging stations, should be on site within 2 hours of receiving call.
• For Tesla cars only; the cars direct the owners to the charging station locations
Commissioner Bodkin made a motion to approve the Tesla charging stations as presented. Commissioner Saller seconded the motion. Roll Call: Commissioner Baldino-Aye, Commissioner Bodkin-Aye, Commissioner Crosby-Aye, Commissioner Kwasek-Absent, Commissioner McCombie-Aye, Chairman Rafferty-Aye, Commissioner Saller-Aye. 6-Ayes, 0-Nays, 1-Absent. Motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Commissioner Bodkin made a motion to adjourn the Architectural Control Commission at 7:30 p.m. Commissioner Saller seconded the motion.
